| description: |
Hill Country State Natural area, about 10 miles west of Bandera, has rocky hills, scrub oaks, and cedar trees punctuated by grassy valleys, wildflowers and spring-fed streams. Watch for white-tail deer, wild turkey and a host of songbirds while on the trail.
A benefit for Hill Country React, a ham radio group whose technical skills have contributed greatly to the safety of the Heart of the Hills Ride.
